Kanmani handicrafts conducts its summer courses on Wheel pottery, Craft, Drawing and Painting at Fathima Nursery and Primary School, 1/B, General Collins Road, Choolai, Chennai- 600112. The courses will be held in 3 batches –from 1st May to 10th May, 11th May to 20th May, 21st May to 30th May (1 hr per day).
In Wheel Pottery, with the help of the potter, the children will be making 10 different types of pottery and they will be charged Rs.1500. No age limit.
In Craft two age groups will be targeted. One group is for 8 to 11 yrs, which will cover screen printing, pebble craft, two types of origami, cork doll and bracelet making. And the other group is for 11+ yrs, and they will cover quilling, origami, bookmark, greeting card, pot crackle work, jewelry making and money envelope designing. The charges for craft is Rs.1500.
In drawing and painting classes children will be categorized according to their age group and they will be learning – object drawing, shading, cartooning, coloring and painting. The charges for drawing is Rs.1000, coloring and painting is Rs.1500.
The course fee is inclusive of all materials.
